I hope the big corporates get this web 2.0 wave in perspective and dont distort the whole market again by blindly rushing into web 2.0 without mapping it into their existing offers and of course consumer needs. Like many I remember during the last dotcom boom how many companies were obsessed with cramming their websites with every pice of info under the sun newspaper style rather than thinking about their consumers and what brand experience they needed individually. Now everyone is diving into web 2.0 redesigns and Im get the impression that everyone will come out with identikit CGC driven sites, bloggified and forum filled rather than designing something unique and tailored to their different customers.
