The dumbest trade show marketing tchotcke?
(Posted by francois to: random brainsqualls )This must qualify as one of the dumbest trade-show tchotckes I have seen - or maybe I am just missing something. An army of people at Ad:Tech were distributing these money clips filled with two $1 bills. When I got it, I could not find the booth in the immediate vicinity and a few minutes later I realized they did not even have a URL on the clip for me to look them up.
...oh well...must be some "new" marketing technique...

Who needs URLs with Google? Besides, just add .com to the end of the name, and there's your URL.
They got you to blog about it, didn't they? Sounds effective to me. ;-)

True enough - I thought about that as well :-)
I still contend that this tchotcke is a waste of money though...
