AARP ad on marketing to older people
(Posted by francois to: advertising )![]()
Last week I ran across this ad in AdAge. It's an AARP ad soliciting customers to advertise in their magazine. The copy reads "To most marketers, consumers die the minute they turn 50."
I wonder what David Wolf over at Ageless Marketing thinks about this one...

I don't know what Mr. Wolfe has to say about it - but I wrote a chapter about this campaign in my book "Advertising to Baby Boomers."
If you (Francois) want a copy of the chapter, email me.
