This is very true! My wife works in the educational publishing industry, and they are the most "old school" type of companies I have heard of, with spying on employees, disallowing any social networking activity, etc. And they are supposed to be providing the teaching material for our kids?

Companies should also be realizing that they have to deal with the reality of a new way of communicating. The old days are gone. If they expect to engage their consumers, they need to start at home with their employees.
