They get interest on your money and they can manage cash flow better. Of course, the true goal (yes, I'm a cynical veteran of the rebate wars) is to never give you your money (that's why there are so many conditions - original bar code from the box, etc. etc.) And, if one tiny thing doesn't match - oopsie! You don't qualify. So Solly, but we value your business! I do take the time to pursue such matters - out of principle (and the hopes that I can affect some change for all of us.)
