Short term gains will be replaced by long term declines when the story hits critical mass. Finding out that one of your friends was pitching you P&G is like finding out that that friend had propositioned your significant other - they are both underhanded, contemptuous propositions. The utter lack of authenticity is what will drive this campaign back to the cesspool from which it was spawned.
