		<description>Well, as always it&#039;s a matter of both perspective and interpretation.  The customers say they value the &quot;subject matter expertise&quot; above all else.   But, it would be impossible for the salesperson to demonstrate/provide that knowledge if they weren&#039;t able to put it in terms the customer  understands and can relate to (so knowledge of the customer and their business is critical.)

Further, if the salesperson is technically excellent yet unable to give a presentation, much less hold a conversation - that&#039;s another loser.

Guess those folks at Harvard don&#039;t get out much ;-)
